Sonjiah( sōn jaī) Davis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist, whose expertise is in family and child welfare, specifically working with children diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. She is the former host of “Get Your Mind Right, a radio talk show about mental and behavioral health and wellness on We Act Radio and has made several guest appearances on other shows as a mental health expert. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Texas, Arlington and has been a panelist on a variety of discussions on health, mental health and wellness.

Ms. Davis obtained her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Howard University where she focused on social work policy and earned a position as a congressional staffer.

As a former congressional staffer, she worked on legislation such as the Social Work Reinvestment Act, The Affordable Care Act and other important legislation and has been an advocate for women and children within the community focusing on issues such as human trafficking, missing and exploited children and rape/sexual abuse and issues pertaining to the LGBTQIAA community.

She has a practice in PG County Maryland and has recently opened her practice, RS Davis Health & Wellness, LLC in Washington, DC focused on teaching sex positivity by serving the LGBTQQIAAP2s community and persons in other alternative relationship lifestyles and the nonreligious community.

Ms. Davis is also a yoga instructor and a certified nutrition educator who uses yoga/meditation and nutrition education to help minimize symptoms of depression/anxiety and ADHD/ADD and other mental health issues.
