Code of Conduct

The Women of Color Beyond Belief Conference wants to provide an educational and enjoyable experience. Harassment of participants, speakers, and volunteers will NOT be tolerated

Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to: harassment related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, and yes, religion. Unwanted physical contact and racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic (transgender women ARE women) language & behavior is also strictly prohibited.  

Please ask for permission to take photographs of participants, speakers and volunteers. 

As this is a conference that features the perspectives and work of Women of Color, please listen and engage with the utmost respect. We understand there may be questions and requests for additional conversation, however, do comply with the requests of any speaker or participant who wishes not to engage further, or on a limited basis. Also, do refrain from centering anyone or anything other than the conference focus.   

Failure to adhere to this code of conduct will result in immediate ejection from the conference without a refund, and at the sole discretion of the conference organizers. 

Please find any of the organizers and/or volunteers to report any incident(s) of harassment, or violation of the code of conduct.
